Anneliese Vandenberg & Austin Peck

Anneliese Vandenberg and Austin Peck are the founders of Village Beat. Their first project – a documentary film called Tough Bond – follows the lives of three, teenage Kenyan street kids from the nomadic Turkana tribe. A generation ago, Turkanas grazed cattle and goats and survived as a village. Today, left with no choice, their children flee the starving villages and head for the cities to survive. In the streets and slums, they find a new tribe. Their bond is huffing glue.
