Right Footed

Nick Spark

Right Footed tells the story of Jessica Cox, a 29-year-old woman who was born without arms but who overcame enormous physical and emotional challenges to become fully independent, and learned to drive a car and fly an airplane — with her feet.  An expert martial artist, college graduate and motivational speaker, Jessica is the world’s only armless airplane pilot, a mentor, and an advocate for people with disabilities.

Directed by Emmy Award winning filmmaker Nick Spark, this feature length documentary follows Jessica as she transforms into a disability advocate working on the world stage — traveling to Ethiopia with a Nobel Prize winning NGO to promote disability rights, working with survivors of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, and lobbying Senators in Washington, D.C. on behalf of a major disability treaty, the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).
